The Wimberley

This is not a cottage, but rather a large two bedroom, two bath free standing upstairs apartment home with a separate private entrance located right above our office. The Wimberley contains about 1300 square feet! The apartment will sleep up to 10 people.

The master bedroom contains two queen size beds. Attached to the master bedroom is a large bathroom containing a Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom is adjacent to the master bedroom and has a bunk bed and double bed. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets and ceiling fans. There is a second bathroom and tub/shower as well.

The kitchen contains a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and serving bar with bar stools and overlooks a dining area that contains a large dining table. The living room is huge and it contains a pull out sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV. The Wimberley does not have a loft.

On the exterior is a large wraparound deck with chairs and table overlooking the RV park. There is a large picnic area and barbeque grill immediately downstairs from the apartment for your free use. The Wimberley also is located adjacent to the indoor pool and playground.

Amenities include free WiFi and cable TV. All linens, kitchen utensils, and utilities are furnished and included in the rate.

Other terms of occupancy:

Minimum Length Stay: There is no minimum stay requirement during the off season. There is a 2-3 night minimum stay in some instances and there may be a 3 or 4 night minimum stay on certain holidays and festivals

Cancellation Policy: On stays of 29 days or less, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged if canceled more than two weeks before the arrival date. If your reservation is cancelled less than two weeks prior to 4:00 P.M. of your arrival date, the cancellation fee is a loss of your deposit. On stays of 30 days or longer, the cancellation fee is a loss of your deposit. The cost for your entire stay will be charged upon arrival.

Group Cancellation Policy: (applies for 3 or more cottages): A deposit equal to 1/2 the amount of the stay is due at time reservation is made. The deposit is refundable, less the $25 cancellation fee, up to 30 days before the first night. If a group reservation is cancelled within 30 days of your stay, the deposit is non refundable.

Refunds: There are no refunds after arrival

Deposit: On stays of less than 30 days, a deposit equal to the cost of your first night's stay is required. On stays of 30 days or longer, a deposit equal to the first month is required. No matter how long you stay, the balance of your stay is to be paid upon arrival. There is no security deposit. Deposit requirements may change from time to time without notice.

Check In / Check Out: Check in time is 4:00 PM or later.We will allow an earlier check in if the cottage is clean and ready for occupancy. Check out is noon.

Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed in most cottages with an extra charge of $25.00 per dog, per night. There is a weight limit and aggressive breed restricition. There is a $250 charge for bringing a pet that has not been allowed in writing by us. Download our Pet Policy here.

Linens and Towels: Provided by Hill Country, but neither linen nor housekeeping service is provided during your stay. However, towels may be exchanged at the front desk.

Maid Service: No maid service is provided. We can arrange it for a small fee during your stay if you'd like.

Soap and Shampoo: Provided by Hill Country.

Smoking Policy: There is a non-smoking policy inside the cottages and all indoor spaces. There is a $200 charge for breaking this rule.

Minimum Age:The responsible guest needs to be 18 years of age or older

Tax Rate: Currently 13% in New Braunfels.

Guarantee Policy: Cottage location cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to upgrade you to a more expensive cottage at no charge if we deem necessary.

Damages: Guest is responsible for the payment of any damages.
